Talkative Tuesday

Updated: Oct 26, 2021

Hello my beautiful, empowered, intelligent, strong, healed, independent, black and brown Goddesses! I hope everyone is having a wonderful start to their week so far. Well jumping right into it. Yesterday I posted and right after there was a minor situation with an associate and I had to come to the conclusion that I have to stop beating myself up over bonds I did not break. I just want to share that with you because even though I am here to encourage others sometimes I have to encourage myself. Sometimes I get caught up in being so nice to the wrong people and I allow them back in my life because I understand we are all facing something or dealing with something and I believe in giving someone the benefit of doubt. The thing with that is some people take your friendship/relationship for granted and will use you for a convenience and the "ship" becomes one sided and depending on the time of day or who they are around at the moment you're all of a sudden "irrelevant". I say all that to say, sometimes God removes people out of our lives for a reason and we have to be obedient and accept what he has removed. We might not see how they could possibly be our downfall in the future but God sees and knows all. He warns us about everything but we have to be still and listen. We can't keep trying to force a bond with someone who keeps coming in and out of our lives when they want to. That mess is very unhealthy for your mental growth and spiritual growth all together. I believe in being nice but I don't believe in being a fool! So I completely accepted things for what they are. I have said time and time again I accepted this person wasn't a true friend like I thought but I also allowed them back in a few times only for them to ghost me and for it to slightly effect me but chile NO MORE! All they can get from me is a prayer and best wishes in life. You too might be going through this and I just want to let you know you are not alone and it is okay to cut people off with no f**ks given because when you care it leaves room for them to continue to use you but we're not going for that mess anymore.

Speaking of unbalanced friendships, this drama that is going on with Porsha Williams and Falynn G. is very messy. I'm not going to speak on it too much because we are here to uplift not tear down. I will say this, we don't know all the details but from her own statement that she made I am asking all women to look at her situation as a blue print for what not to do. Personally, I do not want any man that a friend or home girl has had. If we are ever hanging out on a regular, laughing in each other's faces, calling and checking on each other, taking pictures with each other, I just can't see myself getting personal with any man that you have had a relationship with especially your newly divorced ex husband. I don't care if you're not with that man anymore the whole situation is very cringe to me. So ladies it is up to us to teach the young ladies coming up under us that this is not a good look. I mean morally it is wrong in my personal opinion and you have to have some type of dignity about yourself. With all the overly populated people in this world I know you can find someone other then

your "friend/home girl" man.

Moooving on...So there is a story coming from Escambia County, FL about a man who was shot and killed by the mother of his kids. This was a situation of him kicking in her door and trying to attack her. Y'all this man woke up and chose violence but received death. It is crazy all around but you have to be careful thinking you're a big bad wolf in this world. Women we are no longer accepting violence against us and we are protecting ourselves and our babies by any means necessary. I am going to end this Talkative Tuesday by asking you to go check out and follow @ancestral_voices and @blackfolksrock on Instagram.
