Welcome back to this weeks Talkative Tuesday and boy is my mind on overload. First, let me start by saying hello to all my beautiful black and brown women. I tried to blog yesterday but for whatever reason my computer froze up and that was unsuccessful. Nevertheless, let's get into it loves. So the kids and I decide to go drop some items off in storage. Well everyone knows that spiders and all kinds of other bugs linger in storage units. So as me and my son are putting the items in I tell him to watch his head because the spiders crawl down and then I say shoot I better watch myself. So we get back in the car and as I am adjusting myself to make sure nothing is on me I feel something crawling down my face. Chileeeee, I looked in the mirror and a damn spider was crawling down my face. My kids and I all bolted out of the car with one of them still in their seat belt. I began stripping my clothes off right then and there and shaking and hitting myself like a fool. Just the feeling alone made me cringe. The fact that I am right on the side of the highway for everyone to see didn't even cross my mind. I mean bra and boobs just out. After I gained my composure we set in the car and all laughed but boy was that a sight to see. As disgusting as it was the laughter that came along with it was added to our mental memories giving us something to laugh at later on in life. Next, on a positive note I was watching Youtube and left my home with the t.v. still on and when I returned and walked into my bed room I heard an episode of Lets Talk with Iyanla Vanzant (episode titled #Enough). Now this episode is almost a year old but it was meant for me to catch this and share it with someone else. Now during her live there was a young lady stating on the live chat that she felt numb at the 1:35 mark on the video and the advice that Iyanla gave was exceptional and very therapeutic. So I encourage you to go check that out. I would personally start from the 1:28 mark of the video because she says things that we all need to hear in order to heal in certain areas of our lives or simply accept the reality that we live in and how to handle it in a positive light. Finally, I want to shed a little more light on the spiritual and lyrical genius DMX. I ran across this clip off him while I was on Instagram and of course I do not own the clip but being that it was public I felt okay to share it. Please check it out below. That's it for today but as always don't forget to respond, give feedback, or simply show up next week for Talkative Tuesday and always remember to #BEEE (Beautiful, Encouraged, Enlightened, & Empowered).
